With its primeknit iterations being the most recent notable release, the adidas NMD R1 returns in a brand new colorway this season, consisting of bright red.

While the eye-catching tone is prominent across its circular knit upper, the component bears an enlarged iteration of the ubiquitous military motif, as various shades are prominent along the toe box and rear section of the shoe.

Further detailed with tonal matte stretch TPU three-stripes on the side panels, branded heel pull tabs and contrasting black molded EVA plugs on the crisp white boost sole unit, the sneaker is finished off with matching laces.

Additional branding is seen on the tongue label and frontal section of the midsole.

You can purchase a pair at select adidas accounts nationwide now for a retail price tag of $130.

I’ve shared before that I’m a fan of the silhouette. I’m pretty biased towards this color combination and I like how the camouflage detail isn’t that prominent.
